DUOMO

The Duomo of Milan, whose construction began in 1387, is located in the square of the same name in the city centre. The Gothic cathedral, symbol par excellence of the Lombard capital, with its 135 spires and over 200 statues stands as one of the most famous Italian architectural works in the world. Piazza Duomo is connected to Piazza San Babila by C.so Vittorio Emanuele the famous pedestrian area full of shops and bar.

GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE II

Built starting in 1865, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a covered passage connecting Piazza Duomo and Piazza della Scala. The Galleria is home to numerous designer shops and prestigious brands as well as famous cafés and restaurants.

TEATRO LA SCALA

Often referred to simply as 'La Scala', as well as being one of the most famous theatres in the world, it is known as 'the temple of opera' and is located in one of the busiest and most elegant squares in the city, the Piazza della Scala.

CASTELLO SFORZESCO- SEMPIONE – ARCO DELLA PACE

Built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, the Sforza Castle, together with the Duomo, is one of the symbols of Milan. Behind the Castle is 'Parco Sempione', the largest park in the city. The park is home to the Triennale where numerous exhibitions are held. On one side of the park is the Arch of Peace, built by Napoleon in 1807.

SANT’ AMBROGIO

The Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio, was built between 379 and 386 at the behest of Milan's Bishop Ambrose and is one of the oldest and most beautiful churches in Milan.
